“Just like a chocolate milkshake, only crunchy!” I have been singing that song in the kitchen ALL MORNING!!! It’s my HEALTHY version of Coco Pops minus all the sugar and nasties! Chocolate Buckwheat Granola… it’s crunch, crunch, crunch, all morning! I love BREAKFAST, especially when it is super crunchy and chocolately!! It’s delicious with soy milk, almond milk or used as a topping for smoothies and yoghurt! πŸ™‚

Hello! Love all your recipes! But I’m from Portugal and I can’t find buckinis anywhere! πŸ™

Do you have an alternative? Thanks! xx

    Hi Catia,
Thanks so much for the lovely comments! You can use buckwheat as an alternative xx.

    Hi
I’d love to try this, but what’s underneath the granola can you post that recipe as well? Looks delicious and I too love chocolate, I refer to myself as a ” chocoholic “! Best,

    Hi Renee,
It’s my Choc Banana Smoothie with a Twist! Recipe is under the Drinks section πŸ˜‰
    I am also a “chocoholic”! πŸ˜‰

Hello! Recently converted vegan here! I’m from Australia and I’m not sure where to purchase cacao nibs from? Any alternatives? πŸ™‚ Thank-you so much, you really inspire me!

Ciara – I’m from Melbourne and have found cacao nobs from health food stores in major shopping centres or gourmet grocers (e.g. Thomas Dux). Hope that helps πŸ™‚

P.s. Secret Squirrell – cant wait to try this! I have all the ingredients left over from your delicious caramel slice πŸ˜€

LOVE this – I too am a lover of chocolate milkshakes, and the ‘idea’ of coco pops – minus the nasties πŸ™‚ this would satisfy my breakfast hunger and chocolate addiction, brilliant!

Hi! Can you suggest any alternatives to peanut butter? I absolutely loathe it and would just omit it but I’m unsure if it is used to hold it together or just for flavour. Thanks!

Hi, i live in jakarta where supplies for most of the ingredients you listed above is unavailable. Can i replace buckinis with regular oats? And raw agave syrup with maple syrup? Any recommendations on what to replace the cacao nibs with? πŸ™‚ thanks a bunch

Do you cook the buckwheat first or it all goes into the oven raw? They’d be super crunchy?
