Are you stuck for snack ideas? How about some Honey Popcorn Slice?! I’m always on the hunt for healthy snacks! This Honey Popcorn Slice is the perfect lunchbox treat for the kids too, as most schools have to be nut-free these days. What I love about this recipe is that it is super quick, easy to make and is packed full of goodies, which will keep you energized throughout the day. Store bought food is typically full of refined sugar and unnatural ingredients. Providing kids with tasty, nutritious and wholesome food will make a huge difference to kids’ health. Make this yummy slice and it is guaranteed that you will be the envy of all your friends! 🙂

Tahini is ground up sesame seeds, like peanutbutter is ground up peanuts :). It’s also a main ingredient of hummus and, to me, tastes a little more savory than other nut butters.

You can sub tahini with any nut butter like almond butter, peanut butter, cashew butter, or sunbutter (made from sunflower seeds). But, if you can, please give tahini a shot, it’s SO delicious!!! It’s also good on roasted root veggies!!!

I made this but my chocolate sauce was quite runny and just seiped into the popcorn. Didn’t look like yours at all. Should I have let it sit in the fridge a little to thicken?

Tahini is found in local supermarkets in the international food areas. Ask someone at checkouts they will point you in the right direction. Tahini is a seaseme seed paste. Very healthy for you
