Overnight Almond Blueberry Oats


I never skip breakfast. I just cannot function throughout the day without my morning breakfast boost! It is my favourite meal of the day and I could eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Overnight oats is wholesome, delicious meal and packed full of goodies to get your through the day! My favourite toppings are fresh berries and bee pollen, but you can top it with whatever you like. The combinations are endless! It’s also fantastic on it’s own and prepared the night before so you can wake up to a bowl full of goodness!

    what can i substitute oats with to make it into a gluten-free meal? i used to have oats every single day before i started my gluten free journey. i miss it so much!

    As long as you buy oats that are certified gluten free you will not have a problem. Oats are naturally gluten free, the only reason you need to be careful is because many companies will add barley or wheat to their oats. Hope that helps!

    Hi Katherine
    This is a lovely recipe but just wanted to let you know that even gf oats have some gluten. Oats with less than 6 parts per million gluten and manufactured in a flour free facility can be called gf. many who are gluten intolerant will cope with… Those really sensitive cannot . It is a myth that oats have no gluten.
    Will try some alternatives and see how it goes…

    Quinoa flakes are a good substitute for oats! I use them in porridge sometimes and it’s just like normal oats 🙂
