It’s raining Lemon & Ginger(Bread) Men!!! Hallelujah, it’s raining men… yeah yeah…

 

Healthy food doesn’t have to be boring… Let’s make it FUN!! Be warned, these cute little raw Gingerbread Men are known to cause lunchbox ENVY! Lemon and Ginger is a classic flavour combination and this recipe is really easy to make. They are the perfect mid-morning, mid-afternoon, lunch box and post gym snack. Kids (as well as adults!) will LOVE these! Raw, vegan, sugar-free, dairy-free and gluten-free… you won’t believe it’s HEALTHY! Use dried fruit, nuts and seeds to decorate. Be creative and most importantly have a bit of fun in the kitchen! These are just way toooooooo CUTE to eat! But I can’t resist, one leg, one arm at a time…. GET IN MA BELLY!!

    Saw this recipe in good magazine and am now very inspired to make some for my son’s schoolmates as a Christmas treat. What will be a good substitute to almonds? Just in case of nut allergy….

    I didn’t have any ginger so I replaced that with nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla and replaced the lemon with coconut milk. Haven’t tried them yet but the texture is good and it smells amazing!!
